Journaling reads: “As Cassandra & I were driving back from the Summer Sanitarium Concert in Washington, DC to go back to my mom's house, I saw this beautiful sunset & just had to pull over off of I-270 in Maryland to get some pictures of it. Cassandra thought I was nuts! But shortly after we got on Route 15 in Pennsylvania, there was a terrible car accident that caused traffic to come to a complete stop. I told Cassandra that if I wouldn't have stopped to take pictures of the sunset, it may have been us involved in that accident! So these pictures earned the title of ”The Sunset That Saved Us!“ July 18, 2003 ~ Cassandra's 13th Birthday” My daughter's (and mine) favorite band is Linkin Park, so for her 13th birthday, I drove 4 hours from my mom's house in PA to DC to take her to see Linkin Park in concert with the Summer Sanitarium Tour. That's all she wanted for her birthday, even though she got more, lol. TFL
