* One Amazing Woman *

A woman of great strength, character, wisdom, patience, gentleness, and love. She has always been a hard worker. Her house is immaculate and everything is always in order. When my brother & I were young my MOM was the church secretary, helped with the youth group and tuaght piano lessons. Needless to say, she was exhausted doing all that work & looking after two small children only 13 months apart. My MOM stayed at home when we went to school. It was so comforting to know that if we got sick or hurt she would be there to take care of us. She only started to work in the outside world when we were in high school. MOM enjoyed her job as a school secretary and she was very good at it. During my last year of university our family moved to British Columbia & a couple of years after that move my MOM began teaching music lessons. She has always had a deep passion for music & especially singin. She led church choirs year after year and helped give direction to the church worship teams. I have such wonderful memories of singing with my MOM in my late teens and throughout my twenties. As a MOTHER & daughter team our voices just blend together so well. Another amazing talent that my MOM possesses is sewing. She has & still does sew for herself, for others & when I was growing up she sewes all of my dresses. The best one of all was my wedding dress. It was absolutely beautiful. My MOM has been a great example to me. Now, being a MOM myself, I realize that I want to be that same kind of example to my own children. I'm so glad that I have a MOM like her.
