A layout about Mackenzie's first baseball game. Journaling reads, “We took Mackenzie to her very first baseball game when she was six and a half months old. We went with our friends Bob and Alisa, and Bob’s sister and her family, to a Kane County Cougars game on July 25, 2003. Tom and I had been to a couple of Cougars games in the past and had a lot of fun. We had contemplated getting a sitter for Mackenzie, since we weren’t sure how she would do at something like this, but, in the end, we couldn’t resist bringing her with us. To our surprise, she absolutely loved it! She was so excited by all of the people, music, and the game itself. She laughed the entire time and even lasted long enough to see her very first fireworks show. She was pretty tired by the end of the night, but she fought to stay awake so that she wouldn’t miss anything. She was even smiling and chatting to herself on the way to the car and someone commented that she had to be the youngest fan there that was still awake! We all had so much fun that we can’t wait to have more fun family outings just like this one.” Thanks for looking! Heather
