My buddy, Candi, surprised me with a photo of my layout in the idea book this morning, so I assume it's ok to post this (thanks Bud! And thanks to the pea that scanned it for her!!!). This is a layout I did for the SEI Softy/Sporty contest that talks about Mackenzie's Growing Smile. It includes a tooth chart that I downloaded from Anbesol's website. Journaling reads, “Mackenzie's first tooth finally broke through on Saturday, August 16, 2003. It was a difficult week prior to the time her tooth finally appeared. She was up most of the night for several days before, and just wasn't her happy self during the day. She spent most of those nights in our bed with Dad trying to hug her to sleep. Baby Anbesol and Tylenol helped some, but it wasn't until the tooth finally appeared that she got some relief. We hoped that with the next tooth, she would feel less pain, but that, unfortunately, was not the case. Two weeks later her second tooth appeared right next to the first. She was up again several nights before and whined in pain during the day. We purchased a few more teethers and made sure to always keep the freezer stocked. We could tell that it definitely felt good for her to chew on them. Today is September 22, 2003 and Mackenzie had a very rough day today. She had her first fever and was sent home from school. It looks like she has 4 teeth that are ready to break through any day now. We made sure to give her some Tylenol for her fever, Motrin before bed tonight and a good supply of hugs and kisses. Like all difficult things, this too shall pass, and she'll soon have a mouthful of pearly whites to flash when she beams that heart-warming smile of hers!” She has 8 teeth now, so I'm going to update her chart as soon as I get the layout back! Thanks so much for looking! Heather
