I'm taking a little break from DH's Iran album to do something else. Just a random childhood photo of my sister and me (I'm in blue). The colors are a little off from the scan–the papers under the photo and journaling are the SR grid paper. Journaling reads:

This box. This magical yellow box. It wielded great powers over us and drove us to madness. Gram always had a Whitman's sampler on her table. Dawn confesses to poking her finger into the bottom of the chocolates or biting right into the bottom to crack the mystery of what was inside those brown mounds of creamy deliciousness. We'd fight over who got the crunchy, nutty ones–my favorite crunchy of all was the coconut. Later, Gram took to hiding her magical boxes under the sofa, but it didn't take long for us to find them. We'd wait til we heard the shk-shk-shk-shk of her sewing machine that meant she was occupied and we'd dive-bomb onto our bellies and slide the magical yellow box from under her blue velvet sofa.

Materials: Patterned papers (from left to right): Scenic Route, Deluxe Designs, Unkown, Paper Loft, American Crafts, Scenic Route, SR, SR. Heidi Swapp chipboard letters. SEI buttons. Deluxe Designs chipboard arrow. Jo-Ann's rub-on letters. Gill Sans font. TFL! ~Debbi T
