Give a Cheer
This LO incorporates some goodies that I found this past weekend at the Dollar Tree. I found these cool faux leather frames that I tore off the backs to use the fronts on scrapbook pages. I also found a box of vintage Valentine notecards(8 per box w/ stickers included). I used one of these to make the cover for my mini scrapbook that is included here on the second page. Also roughed it up a bit and inked it. Another thing that I found was a box of “Heart to Heart Conversation cards”. I used one of these which I embossed the edges and tied a thin ribbon around the bottom on my first page. The card says…“What's The Most Romantic Night You've Ever Had?” I also found some neat vintage Valentine Rub-ons which I also used throughout the lo! The journaling reads…"February 14,1998…Valentine's Day& my 25th Birthday weekend! Mugi gave me the most wonderful surprise and memory for this special night. We first went to Applebee's for our dinner, but the entire time we were there Mugi seemed to be rather anxious and I was getting more curious as the time passed. Later when we got back to his dorm room he was insisting that I go through the door first. i did, and before my eyes could take in all of the details, my heart began to race! While we were gone he had a friend come over to decorate the room with lit candles, balloons, banners, and roses. He topped it off with soft music in the background and a Birthday cake! Nobody had ever gone to the extreme to surprise me like that for my Birthday and I was flattered that Mugi did. It was a great romantic and intimate Birthday party for two that I will always remember.
