I decided to put together a mini book for the November monthly crop that I host at my church using a Thanksgiving theme. This is what I came up with. I used coin envelopes for the inside pages to hold pre-made tags, both items bought at Office Depot, and made the covers with chipboard that I cut to fit before hand. I used my Bind-it-all for connections. This is the book I made to show as an example. I used some new Inkadinkadoo stamps, pp scraps and stickers from a variety of companies and ribbon off the roll for the tags. The pages have been left photo free so that I can add pictures from Thanksgiving Day. Each family/friend that comes to dinner will be given a tag and asked to write the things that they are most grateful for. Their tag will be placed in the envelope where I'll put their photo. The class went over really well. Everyone shared supplies and ended up with their own piece of artwork. I'm very lucky to not only have all of Pealand to inspire me but to have such talented friends right here too! Wish I could have scanned all of their books too, so many were so much better than mine. One of the gals is going to use the same idea to make a baby book for her daughter's baby shower, having the guests write wishes for the new baby. (This fits for so many DW prompts! For this month, it's the make a page of things you're grateful for.)
