For the first Hour of the Garden Girls CropJournaling Reads:I can't imagine growing up anywhere but under the glear blue skies of South Dakota. Long walks through the pasture where I could be alone with my thoughts was one of my pastimes. I had a favorite thinking tree I would sit on, sometimes bringing a book or my journal along with me. These photos of Mom and Dad's farm were taken in the springtime. I can still remember the freshness of springtime on the farm. Everything was green and fresh and there were baby calves and kittens. There was the work associated with getting ready for summer and growing crops and a garden. Potato planting on Good Friday was a tradition.I love being a country girl.AC brown felt thickers, K Co. chipboard sticker flower from the Ancestry line, pp is Pamela Woods for Creative Imaginations.
