The striped pp is very architectural, brightens up the color of your hubby's shirt, and reflects some of the color in the brick, so I'd say the pp is a hit. The buckle on the ribbon is great because it is shaped like a house, and I like that the ribbon overlaps the step, so that instead of us noticing the concrete steps, we notice your family. Including your names is optional, because the names probably appear in other places in the album, but if you do include them, I suggest you insert a (.5 - .75") narrow (black?) title strip across the page just above the photo, and put your names on it in white to reflect the bits of white that appear elsewhere in the photo. that way the names are there, but they are not central, and viewers can read them or overlook them without them interupting the movement of their eyes across the lo. As you have it now, the names compete with the scripture for the viewers attention.
I love that this is a Christian Lo...Beautiful. Have you seen praisebooking.com...they are a Christian scrapbook site...you may be interested if you were not aware! :) I have a Lo in their gallery...you may wanna check into it...

The photo was very low quality, only 360 x 480, but I very much wanted to scrap it. This family has moved a LOT and while visiting them, I took a few pictures of unique features inside the home so the kids can see where they lived at that time. To attempt to disguise the low quality of the photo, I applied an oil painting filter after enlarging it. It doesn't quite look real, but at least it's not pixely.
