In these pics, my ds is standing behind me clinging onto my leg :) I wanted to do a LO about how blessed I am and how my ds has changed me. The little letter stickers say "i am so"

Journaling:

A child is one of the greatest gifts God could ever give. It scares me that He entrusted me with you. I know that He would not give me anything I couldn*t handle, and only with His help can I do this. You are only 2.5 and you*ve taught me so much. You trust with blind faith, just how I*m supposed to trust God. Sometimes you mess up, but I love you just the same, even when I have to discipline you. You could never lose my love. You*ve taught me to have patience. You show me how to enjoy life. You remind me to slow down and focus on what really matters. Every day you grow by leaps and bounds. The moments I share with you (and all the other moments in your days) will never happen again, and they matter so much! They are teaching you to become the man you will be someday. You*re learning to be independent, to love, be responsible, and survive in this world. Everything I tell you, you believe. Even if you don*t understand it. Sometimes I have to remind you over and over. But this has helped me put more faith in God*s word, and to know that sometimes I don*t always have to understand - just trust. God will take care of our family; we will take care of you. Motherhood is very challenging, especially since you are so strong willed! I know we have many hard times to go through, and we already have, but God has taken us over all the bumps in the road and is teaching us how to be thankful for every experience. Even if we think it is a bad one at the time. You can do some things that frustrate me, i.e. you don*t want to take naps or go to bed before 10pm or sleep past 6am. But when you*re a teenager, I know we*ll have to drag you out of bed every morning, so I try to enjoy saturday mornings at 6am with you. You used to want me to carry you everywhere, and that is already changing. When you start school, you probably won*t even want me to kiss your cheek, so I cherish these days, though they are trying sometimes. I know I will always have a lot to learn about being a mother, and I will make mistakes, but I am positive God will continue to bless me each and every day. I am so happy to be your mother, and I pray I can be a good one. It is one of the most important jobs on this earth, and I enjoy every day that I get to spend with you.
*I am so thankful that God has blessed me with you.
