Loved making this card, very different thing for me!Used an offcut of transparency (left over from printing title and journaling for layouts), swiped over azure and teal blue stazon, swirling together then wiping and blending with tissue after allowing to dry a little. Aim for an uneven effect to reflect water movement. For the greenery at the bottom I used the cactus green stazon and, using the edge, swiped it upwards across the blues to resemble plants growing on the sea bed. Overstamped with Autumn Leaves stamps using olive green and rusty brown. The pebbles are the ‘o’s' from a Banana Frog alphabet stamp set, stamped in teal blue Stazon. I found it best to leave the colours to dry a little before overstamping with another.
Fish cut from Scenic Route paper and layered on foam dots. Brads covered with stickles for the air bubbles. Studio G sentiment stamp. Machine stitching.
Quilt inspiration - beautiful coral reef art quilt (image attached)
Anything goes 3 stamps - Banana Frog alpha stamps, 2x Autumn Leaves stamps and Studio G stamp
Four things - Banana Frog alpha stamps (pebbles using o's), brads, patterned paper, image stamps (Autumn Leaves) for the seaweed.
Punch of Colour - orange, blue, green
By the sea - underwater scene with fish cut from Grafton pp from Scenic Route.
Mix it up - Banana Frog alpha stamps, 2x Autumn Leaves stamps and Studio G stamp
Non-paper stamping - transparency base for the underwater scene.
Had to have it - Autumn Leaves Botanicals stamps, the one stamped in orange was previously unused, cactus green and azure Stazon, new Frosted Lace Stickles, dense foam piercing mat aka brad packaging - tip from someone else's blog.
Toying with techniques - method described above
