Great use of yellow raincoat embellishment. I love the way you incorporated the circle paper at bottom of page and added the date. It gives me the feel of drops of rain!
Journaling says: What is it about little boys and water?? When I took you to the babysitter’s house today on my way to work, you happily noticed that it was raining. “Can I play in the puddles?” you asked, and I told you we’d see about it when we got home. Four hours later, as we pulled into the garage, I discovered that you had not forgotten our earlier conversation. “NOW can I play in the puddles, mommy?” It had stopped raining and was starting to dry out, but we quickly put on your boots and raincoat so you could rush out in search of the few last drops of rain to splash your feet in. As luck would have it, though, as soon as you stepped outside, the rain began to fall again. You were so excited to be able to use your Bob the Builder umbrella as a whole new world of puddles fell at your feet!
