So, as said in my earlier post…I am going to walk you through a couple of pieces..so you can do it yourself. ~~~~~~~~~photo #1~~~This is an old window, you can find them at any antique store…here in Texas they run about $7-$10…crazy cheap. But, I drilled holes in the wooden parts and threaded a thin gage wire through to make something to hang inspirational stuff, pictures, etc…. I also used rub-ons on it. The clothes pins I have are from IKEA from about 4 years ago…can't believe that I hung on to them. ~~~~~~~~photo #2 Another old window. Same thing, I drilled holes and made 2 hanging wires big enough to hang 12x12 stuff on there, it's so hard to store that stuff.~~~~~~photo #3 OK, so this white shelve thing I found on the side of the road, it was literally road kill :) Anyway, I brought it home, cleaned it up and painted it white on the inside (the outside was already white) and it works PERFECT to slide all my trays of embellies and trays of stuff that needs to be put away.~~~~~~~~photo #4- Shelves bought at an auction for $50. WOrk perfect for all my stuff. The jars for my foam stamps are from Wal-mart in the cooking section (about $5 each) and from junk stores and garage sales. The scale was $5 at a junk store. The stacked boxes marked down at M's for $2 a set….love them!~~~~~~~photo #5- The shutters….love them so much. About $5-$10 each…I used paperclips unfolded as hooks. Use the small end of the paper clip as the hook part for the shutter, it will stay on way better then the bigger side. Plus the bigger side holds more stuff. ~~~~~~photo # 6 the white hutch. I have had that since I was 20 years old. Cheap, made out of pressed wood….I painted it white and added new knobs and now it looks like a million dollars!~~~~~~~~~some other random stuff….I don't have a computer desk, so I used a hall table and tucked one of the kids tables underneath for my keyboard. One day we will buy me a desk…or I'll find a cheap one and fix it up. The "Create sign, a piece of wood painted and stenciled…embellished, drilled and hung. ~~All the little buckets that are embossed and in green and white…clearance at J's for like $2 each this summer. Clipboards, Oriental Trading Co, $5….Curtains, $15 Walmart. Rug (doesn't really match, it's from our old playroom) $20 at target……..A Scraproom that I love, PRICELESS!!~~~~~Thanks for letting me share with you, Katie
