O.K, so the Mistletoe line by Daisy D's couldn't be more perfect for my vintage pictures….It was a match made in heaven!This is a piece of corrugated cardboard (I cut a flap off of a box, so no excuses that money is “tight” to stop you from this project :) !!)I dry brush painted the outer edges with white paint, then sanded and inked it to distress it and make it “shabby”.Then I adhered the papers (use a wet glue, such as Fabri-tac, Tombo etc….for adhesion to cardboard or chipboard) and the picture. Then, I used Sri's design tip from the DT tips on another sight that is posted on the Message boards on how to pleat ribbon. (thanks so much, Sri, I love the way it looks).I then punched holes in it using the crop-a-dile, you could just use a hole punch, paper piercer, drill or whatever….and then threaded the ribbon through and tied in knots.This is a picture of my Mom and My aunt when they were little!Katie
