the PPing was made by my internet friend, GlennaI fashioned a journaling pocket because I had so much to say, I divided my journaling into two parts and glued them back to back. Added a tab and star punchies.Journaling reads:Dora’s Adoring FansIn the spring, the girls started to watch Dora the Explorer, a children’s cartoon on the Treehouse Television Network. They watched every show, enthralled. Quinn was slow to speak, I think it was a feeling of intimidation from having a verbose older sister. In fact, I was becoming concerned (again) about her language development until I watched her, watching Dora. The show prompts the viewers to do movements and speak at certain times. Quinn obeyed and would repeat the words fairly clearly whether it was English or Spanish. Once she gained confidence doing that, her everyday language improved and increased in a few short weeks. Now I am adoring Dora fan too! While we were on our trip in May, we shopped for some clothes. In the children’s department, the girls found a display of Dora the Explorer outfits. I heard a squeal over the racks and snuck up to see what the excitement was. Katja and Quinn were so cute. They were so thrilled at their find and were chattering away to each other. It never occurred to them to ask me to buy the outfits for them, it was enough just to admire them. It just melted my heart. I grabbed their sizes and bought them. I just love the little things that make my girls so excited. All summer they proudly wore their ‘Dora shirts. When Quinn’s birthday arrived, Maribel gave Quinn, a Dora backpack. It became her most prized possession.
