I decided I wanted to make some sampler tags to look at differences in product results. So here I am showing my water stamping tag beside tags embossed with Ranger Antiquities Weathered White and Seafoam White (my standard white embossing powder. The base of the tags are colored with tumbled glass and edged in chipped sapphire. The bird is a Tim Holtz die cut. I am not big into using diecuts but his dies cut fabulously in a cuttlebug. Here I cut the bird from some grungeboard. I covered in white so the colors would be brighter. Directly color with distress ink pads walnut stain, wild honey and aged mahogany hmmm then some serendipity color mixing occured. Covered with UTEE x3 and stamped. Color highlights with metallic rubons. White of eye is Ranger's new white enamel accents. I used glossy accents on the butterfly white spots instead of clear embossing powder. Glossy accents is slightly more dimensional to the look and touch. Thanks for looking!
