for my sister's birthday…. i used a blank cardboard cd cover (and should probably have used several and made more of a booklet than what it turned out to be… but i digress as usual) #1 Cover: chatterbox pp, cs, river city vintage alphas and QK flowers and stitching; #2 is the inside of the cd cover: bg paper is Karen Foster, mm flower, button, river city vintage alpha and faux postage received in a swap from michele, ladybug eyelet; the right side is just ribbon i had (i tried using only stuff i had) eyelets and brads), the quote is printed on vellum over a versmarked harlequin (by SU) bg; stitching at the top; #3 pulls out from the left hand side of the cd holder: a pic of me and my sister (i'm the one in the red :-)) with some photo corners, the quote and stitching; #4 will be in the right hand portion of the cd holder to remove and open: very simple front with grosgrain ribbon, mm heart clip, HA printers type alphas and the square cut out to show the pic inside (i'm on the left); #5 is #4 opened (you still with me? LOL): this is a picture of my brother and my sister and me I'm in the middle (i am not sure how old i am.. gotta check on that… but i dont' think my little sister was born yet) - Anna Griffin pp, stitching and this lovely quote (in case you can't read it): To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets. We live outside the touch of time. - Claire Ortega" it seemed a most appropriate quote for us. i had a tough time making this but i guess i'm pleased. i hope she likes it. tfl
