&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;My take on ‘typography’ for this layout was the type on the blocks. I spelled out &lt;strong&gt;'preschool 2009'&lt;/strong&gt;, and snapped a picture of Anderson on his first big day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I typed out the journaling, then printed it off onto a piece of paper from a notepad I had in my desk. I layered a few strips of patterned paper, then punched a few scalloped circles from vellum (!), cut them in half and stitched them down with embroidery floss. The ‘A’ was trimmed from the sheet of Sassafras&amp;nbsp;Me Likey&amp;nbsp;patterned paper. I mounted it onto a white punched scalloped circle, then adhered to a Sassafras paper Whimsy flower.
