I remember taking these pictures of my son on his first day of preschool like it was yesterday! I wanted to specifically capture how tiny his sneakers were and the prized baseball backpack. I'm so glad that I thought to capture the small details of the day. They bring back so many memories and were a perfect addition to telling this story.I based the page on the color and feel of the Clippings line by Basic Grey. While it's not a traditionally themed school line, I loved the color palette and office supply feel of it. I think it compliments these photos really well. I strung a pre-made banner border at the bottom for a quick embellishment. Then added a few details - a wood button, the year and a sentiment sticker to personalize it. I used my Silhouette to cut the large polaroid frame and some tiny alpha stickers to add pops of red and a little personality to the page. TFL!
