We love exploring and visiting new places on vacation. Going through my pictures, I realized how many “firsts” my son had on vacation this year. It's amazing how much kids pick up and learn when they travel. I decided to write out a list of some of these things and make a page highlighting the first time he…A main part of the page is the list. I used a font in a matching aqua color to define each of the “firsts” and placed all of the journaling on a simple graph background. It matches the page, but still stands out as a focal point.The large photo is one of my favorites and I tucked it behind the large envelope I made. I felt this was a round-up of notes and that's what made me think of the envelope idea. The chipboard photo strip border provided a great place for more pictures and embellishments. The bold aqua and royal blue color scheme came right from the large photo. On the rectangular sticker close to the title is something DH and I always tell our son: “Choose experiences over material things. Always.” Hopefully, he will always remember that and value it as much as we do. TFL!
