This is a page in an art journal I recently started. I'm taking a class at a LSS. The book is a 5 x 8 Moleskine with watercolor paper pages. The background for this spread was made with Ranger paint daubers, scraped across the paper with a scraper tool (in my case, old hotel room key card). The softball field was printed from an internet image, trimmed and glued in the book. The white borders and fence-like pattern were created by applying gesso through a stencil. The synonyms for “eccentric” were printed, trimmed, inked and adhered. The large E, “eccentric”, “You are here”, and the arrow were stamped. The orange stitch lines were also stamped to provide journaling space. The stick figure in left field was hand drawn. I used a white signo pen to highlight with stitch lines. TFL!
