CARDS 5-8
Twinkling H2O's
Bazzill cardstock & Judikins Black Glossy cardstock
Shimmer Copper cardstock used for mat on Cards 5 and 6
Bazzil Gold Leaf cardstock used for mat on Card 8
Cards 5-7 were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with Ranger's Clear Super Fine EP. Card 8 was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with Stampa Rosa Filigree Detail EP, Pure Gold.
BedsandBorders posted a thread about stamping on black cardstock and posted some gorgeous cards she made using TH2O's on black cardstock. I had to try it.
Card 5--TH2O's on black cardstock. I mixed some iridescent colors with regular colors for some of these. Then I discovered that many of the colors didn't need mixing at all to show up on black. Just experiment. The Lemongrass I had chosen to make a yellow flower turned out to be a bright Kiwi Green when painted on black. Very cool!
On Cards 6 and 8, I stamped and painted on smooth white cardstock; on Card 7, I used 140-lb. hot-press watercolor paper.
