Since it's already Friday in many parts of the world, and I just finished this, I thought I'd post it now. Today's sketch involves creating some kind of mosaic. I saw Judy of Judikins demo this at the last show I went to. You can also see it in MaryJo McGraw's Greeting Card Magic with Rubber Stamps.

Judy used scraps to make her strips so if you have pieces left over from your WSW projects, start cutting them up.

I started from scratch to make my strips--no time to look through my scraps. I scribbled Marvy Metallic Markers on glossy black cs and misted with water. The cs, paper cord, and mosaic tape are all from Judikins. The charm is from Scrap Arts, and the punchinella (sequin waste) is from eBay.

Hints: When Judy did this, if her strips weren't close enough to cover the tape, she used the paper cord or microfine beads to fill up the space. I used the paper cord because it looks so cool. The double-sided mosaic tape made this easy, but you could just as easily put your cs through the Xyron and then use whatever you usually use to attach your layers to the card.
