1st Lollicut

Breckin has her Mammy's hair … thin, fine, and slow growing. It's hard to believe that she's 2 1/2 years old and just now getting her first haircut! We've been trying to let her grow her hair to one length before we cut it. She loves to have her hair done (unlike her sister who cries at the sight of a brush or comb) especially when we use glitter gel, ribbons, and put curls in it with the curling iron. But, it's getting too long and it's always in her eyes and she's always pushing it out of the way. All one length may not be practical for a 2 year old. We decided we'd have to wait until she cared about how she looked … so we took her to this cute salon called Lollilocks for her first hair cut … and bangs. She was so good, sitting still and patiently waiting for the gal to finish (well, for the most part anyway). And, she did look so cute afterward. It wasn't a planned event and both her mother and I forgot to grab our camera when we left home … ugh … so we took these pics with my camera phone. Not the best quality, but Breckin is sooo cute it shines through anyway! I used a sketch from PageMaps for this one!
