Beach Games - my entry for May BH

I guess I can take this one out of hiding now! The patterned paper is Flavia Green Celebration, the blue and white cardstock is by Canson. I handstrung the beads around the mat on page 1 and sewed them onto the layout with regular sewing thread. The individual beads on page two were also hand sewn onto the layout. Then there's the cute starfish by U.S. Shell, Inc. I did paper tearing for the title and subtitle and inked around the edges using blue watercolor. The vellum was also torn and the font on the journaling is Daves Hand. The font for the title and subtitle is called Sand. The journaling reads: “Boy do you guys love the beach! Whether it’s in the water or out, you just can’t get enough! On this day, you loved playing in the sand most of all. Digging for sand crabs was one of your most favorite things to do. This was one of your “old days” at Jones Beach in 1995. I always had to keep an eye on both of you as you ran around and plunged joyfully into the surf! As you grew, you played less and less in the sand and more and more in the water. Boogie boards and body surfing are more the rage with you now. But I will always treasure your younger, carefree days in the sand”.TFL!!
