Photo-Dec 1991 Journaling-October 2003Letter tiles - Making Memories, Ribbon - Offray, Charm - unknown, Font - Hansa, Paper - I think it's Frances Meyer…not sure.Journaling: My dear Joal, Sometime shortly after we met on August 28, 1990, I began to realize just how lucky I was to be with you. From that day to this, nearly 13 years later, I have learned one simple yet resounding thing…somehow I never fail to be surprised at how deeply you love me and how far you constantly go for me. When I look back over these few years, I know in my head that we’ve been through some difficult situations together, but those aren’t the things that my heart remembers. In my heart, I cherish the sweet little things that we’ve shared. Tender things like when you hold me while I cry and when you let me be the first to hear a new song you’ve written. I treasure the days when you come home at lunch just to catch up with me. I enjoy the times we laugh so hard together about afterburners or Foxworthy. I hold dear the fun times we’ve shared, like our trips to Williamsburg and Akron or the string of SCC concerts we’ve attended. I remember the precious days we’ve shared becoming and being parents, falling in love with two special boys. I was always so proud to be the wife of a Pirate, a long-haired musician, a daddy, a college graduate two times over, an outstanding salesman and a “doer”. The day I said “I do” I knew I loved you, but I had no idea what a gift it was that you loved me. I know of nothing that compares to the comfort you bring to my life. Your love is soft and soothing and it keeps me warm inside and out. After all these years, I’m beginning to see that you are a gift and I am the lucky one.—Sarah Pea Praise Cherished!
