I am so excited to be doing this journal! This is my very first one! I was asked a few months ago to be part of one & had to decline because of school & work (so sorry again, Alicia!), now things are better so I signed up for this one! Our first mailing isn't until January 15th, but I so thrilled to be doing this I got started right away! *lol* The theme I have chosen is *What Makes Me Happy?* Here's the rundown: Journal is by 7 Gypsies, I covered the cover as best I could with Patterned Paper (originally was going to use fabric, but decided against it this time) by: KI, Chatterbox & K & Co. The ribbon is from JoAnn's, I also used a bookplate & bards (from here) as well as a MAMBI thread that says “create.” For the words “Circle Journal” & “happy” Used MAMBI Shabby Chic letter stickers (see a theme with MAMBI's here?! *lol*) & a MM pebble over the “C.” INSIDE COVER: I had a small mess-up so I needed to cover it & decided to place a simple quote taken from CK over top. I iked the edges of the CS with the same ink as the letters & flower stamp which was a Cat's Eye Colorbox Chalk. The letters are PSX Antique alpha stamps & tri-flower stamp is by Hero Arts. INTRO PAGE: not your typical introduction…but I wanted to keep it simple. Used MM safety pin & ribbon. MAMBI letter stickers for “happiness…joy” Bazill CS, KI Patterned paper (just love that flower design!) my own handwriting, Jolee's flowers, small tag by Avery (I believe) & same PSX alpha stamps for my name, along with the small flower stamp by Hero Arts! The next few pages are the Sign In sheets. As I was working on the “handmade” pakets, I was geting so aggravated because I am so horrible at measuring & I wanted everything to be as nice looking as possible (but the end result is still not my favorite! *lol*) anywhoo… again, more MAMBI letter stickers for the “sign in” title & each letter on every gals pocket! Also used scraps of this PP sheet that had 4 squares of different designs (the burgundy, green & yellow squares under the girls initial!) which woked perfect! Also used Chatterboc PP & Bazill CS. That's all I have for now…almost finished with my entry & when I get that done I'll post it as well! Cannot wait to ship this baby out in January & get another one in return!! hehe! Thanks so much to our *fearless* leader Amanda for inviting me to be a part of such a great thing! Thanks so much for Looking! :) ~nichole~
