Layout about my daughters love of shoes…but not dress-up kind of shoes…tennis shoes! I took a photo of her first pair of shoes from Gymboree. My journaling: Not sure when or how it happened…maybe it started with the white cowgirl boots with the fringe, or the black Mary Jane “click” shoes…but somehow, Shanna is a shoe girl. She's not a girly-girl, and definitely has her own sense of style and fashion. Her choice of shoes runs more to Vans and Converse…the wilder the better. And of course, being the free-spirited person that she is, she'll wear two different shoes together, with two different socks…my “organizing, everything needs to match gene” cringes at it inside, but somehow, she manages to pull it off…add a bandana on the leg, multi-colored shoelaces, and our girl makes a modern day fashion statement with her shoes.
