Playing with a new technique I learned today.
Basically, you tap your Distress Ink pad on a piece of foil.
Then, with a fine mist spray, spritz the ink a few times (not saturated. Just mist it a little).
Press your glossy cardstock onto the ink, then when it's dry, stamp on it with StazOn ink.
In the first card, I used Distress Ink for the stamps, and alcohol inks for the background. Sentiment stamp is by CTMH. On the second card, I just used Distress Inks. I played with it so the blue would show up on the “sky” part of the image, and the brown and pink would be the “ground.” Again, sentiment is by CTMH. The nice thing about this technique is if you feel you haven't added enough color to your image, you can always go back, after you've stamped with StazOn and press your image down on the Distress Ink again and again. Since you misted the foil only with water, the StazOn won't bleed (as opposed to using more alcohol inks and Blending Solution….. then your StazOn will disappear off the cardstock since Blending Solution neutralizes solvent inks). TFL!
