I haven't been here for a while, but worked on this “fall” cd book yesterday and today. Thought I would share. #1 The cover is stamped with Purple Onion Designs large Fourscore Titling alpha. DTP brilliance beige ink to cover of cd folder. Copper skeleton leaf and magic mesh. #2 First spread is also inked with brilliance beige ink. Sanded printed paper inside cd pocket on the right (hard to see leaf design on it). Scrap of printed paper and mulberry paper on pocket front. Stamped POD Autumn definition, and months on cardstock. Put the months along the edge of the cd pocket. Stamped the words fall and autumn using POD ancient page alpha, on wide twill scrap. Leaf stamp by Rubber Riot. Inked/chalked petals from silk flowers from craft store. Used a leaf die cut for the tag (with eyelet and fiber). #3 Middle pages are cardstock, that attach/join together two cd folders. Background leaves are stamped with an Anitas stamp using versamark ink. Saying is also POD ancient pages. Sanded leaf die cut. Photo of leaves to the right. Charm with year, and Dymo label with month. #4 On seperate cardstock, I did DTP using Adirondack inks, around a leaf die cut. I used it like a reverse stencil. Lightly sanded that page, and attached to book. Stamped Leaf definition and layered onto page. Inked up white twill with distress inks (darker in person) and attached to page, with a 7 gypsies metal doo dad. This cd folder is also inked with brilliance beige ink. Made a tag using a printed verse, cardstock layers, and a 7 gypsies folder “tab” (with POD seasons word inserted into it. Stamped leaves using Rubber Riot stamp, and Kaliedecolor ink pad. Silver leaf charm unknown.……this was a fun book to make in preparation for fall. Its just around the corner!!Kris
