Yay! I scrapped *8* pictures! This was a great design inspiration this week to get a ton on pictures taken care of! The pictures aren't fantastic, but the memories were, so I just scrapped them. The journaling is super small, too much to say, so I printed it out on the computer (gasp!).

Here's what it says: Why it’s called Mud Mountain Dam, we’ve yet to discover, but it is a wonderful place to escape a warm Washington day. With its play area, picnic field, and water features, it’s a kid’s delight. But my favorite part is the hiking trail that edges the deep ravine where the dam is. Gorgeous views and a cool, shady trail make for a great hike. It’s not even that muddy, they’ve even elevated some parts of the trail on huge planks, to keep you out of the swampy area. The views are amazing, looking down at the river that flows into the dam. The only bad part of the hike? The HUGE slugs everywhere across the trail. Yuck! These pictures are from Memorial Day 2003, they aren’t the best, but they do capture a memory that is precious. Our family, spending time together. We weren’t on the trail long that day because Ethan was a bit loud in his complaining. Oh well, we did go back a few more times before we moved from Washington, and it remains one of my favorite hiking trails.

kraft: unknown; stripe/star/green pp: The Paper Salon; foam stars: AC; eyelets: WRMK; chipboard: Maya Road; stamps: Stamp Effects; ink: Stampin' Up!; pen; Micron; font: Courier.

Thanks for looking!
