Sometimes I love the look of a themed collection, such as American Crafts' new Autumn Crisp line, but I want to use it for more everyday photos. Mixing those seasonal collections with something less themed is a great way to get a more “everyday” look out of them and is the subject of this week's video.Of course, it does help that Autumn Crisp isn't very heavily themed in the first place!In the video I also take a look at using embroidery templates to add hand-stitched elements to your layouts.This week's creative challenge is to stretch an element across more than one pocket in your layout, as I've done with the chevron die cut. It helps to add a bit more continuity to a section and gives a slightly different look, adding interest to a page.
