Just got back from a two week business trip and these were the few photos that I managed to take during the weekend there. You can still see how the Communist era affected the city, as it has been allowed to fall into disrepair, but gradually now that Bulgaria is part of the EU you can see more money is being invested in the City (although they still need a massive injection of funds into their road system which is full of potholes!). These photos are a collection of the good, the bad and the just plain ugly - I'll leave it up to you which is which!
