Give a Cheer
A couple photos of DS on 4th of July this year. He had a very busy day! In the morning we went to a pancake breakfast held at a fire station in Pasadena (inside the bay where the engines usually park) and he got to meet and high-five a fireman. (He is obsessed with fire trucks... he nearly came out of his carseat (seatbelt and all) when we drove up to the station and he saw the five firetrucks parked outside! Then we had friends over and played in the pool and BBQ'd before watching the fireworks. I had planned to put the pic of him watching the fireworks with Daddy, but it came out too dark.
This is another for Scraplift Your Faves and is an almost direct lift of Mandi Yoshikawa's stunning LO seen here: I imediately LOVED that page the moment I saw it and knew I would lift it with my own 4th of July photos.
I used lots of the new papers I got during the Scrapbooking Made Simple sale last weekend and also a lot of hoarded stash.
Also for the Cricut (with twist using a flag), Colour (with twist), Project 52 and Hoarders Challenges. used Stand and Salute cart for the flag banner, frames and 4th of July title piece and George for the stars.
SO happy with how this came out!
