I made the shelf on the left last weekend while my hubby was out of town. It sits over nine 3-drawer plastic organizers. Each organizer is for one color and the drawers are separated by--> Solid, Print, & Scrap. I am really excited by this. I think this system will work for me. When I prep for a page I like to look through all the colors/papers I think I will want to add, then I throw in a few solids, embellies, ribbon, and ect into a folder. I do that for about 10 LO's at a time.
I designed this so I could reach everything from my rolling desk chair. The middle area is actually peg board. (Which I already love!) The three shelves on either side I designed to be short and narrow. I did not want to put anything more than one row deep and I didn't want to wastes space with a lot of overhead.
Lastly I specifically wanted to leave half the wall blank as a display wally for my recent projects and favorites. It fits 21 frames (9x3).
