These two pictures are from different days. She was smiling when she was petting goats at the petting zoo. She had a fit when I told her it was time to get out of Grandma's pool. Both of these were taken in May of this year and I love them. They show the duality of life (and being a parent). Its the yin and the yang...the giggles and the tears...the give and the take. These two different pictures make my heart swell for my daughter. I love her at her happiest and I love her at he sad/angry-est. I admit, now, that I had no idea why parents are so forgiving until I had DD. She is special and kind AND she is smart and stubborn. She is the first born of two first born children so she knows what she wants and doesn't mind cutting the path to get it. She also doesn't mind testing the fences...and me!

I made these two layouts with the same collection, but I made them on separate days, because I wanted them to be different. Just like this is two sides of my daughter I wanted them to be very differnt but made of the same "stuff". You could also say the titles and the "bubbles" add a little cohesion.

This was the first two page LO I have made in years! So I thought I ought to come up with something clever. TFL.
