Totally gorgeous page with so many beautiful things to look at. I really love that you inclued your own bird photos and the horsehair. Elegant fuzzy cutting and layering.
Lots of interest on this LO. I like all the bits of fancy metal on this. The use of some of it to cap off the definitions is quite neat. Neat too that you included a piece of fabric from clothing he'd worn. Like too how you layered the floral cluster above the photo. Birds keep trying to build a nest in the electric wires connecting my house this summer (and previous summers too) and I've had to take the nests down several times unfortunately. But it never occurred to me to scrap any of the unusual findings in their nest materials. As far as I know, there has been no horse hair though....
BEAUTIFULLY done - so creative and lovely. I love the rich colors, the birds, the butterflies, the punchwork, the inking and layering - all so wonderful. (loved that you used a piece of his jacket).
I absolutely love the beautiful and creative layout you made. And it is so filled with love. The words that describe Sam are such a perfect touch here!
OK...you got me with the horse hair!!! LOL You are always so clever and innovative with your los. I always love your choices of embellies. Great photo and a wonderfully, detailed page! :o)
Elizabeth I honestly don't know if there is anyone more creative than you! ALL of your elements have come together so beautifully, so creatively~ Well done friend! Elegant and vibrant post~
This is another one that brings back memories. I played bari in the marching band and the jazz band! :) Love the fabric mats ~ they're perfect ~ and the fact that you included the horse hair.
I think this is a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Page & design. You certainly did your homework on this!!!!!! Sam is a good-looker. Only if I was a little younger........ LOL. I love the WHOLE description & the info on all the things you used!!!!!!!!!!!! I could go on & on & on about this LO!!!!!!!!!!! Hugs<<
Oh wow where do Istart, this is a wonderful ,inspirational page of heartfelt inspiration. Love the story of Sam and his amazing talent. The birds butterflies and all the little recycled pieces add so much love . But poor birds.lol.
Who would have thought of stealing horse hair from a bird to use on a scrapbook page. You are amazing. I love this. I love all the little touches from his uniform and using the photos of birds from your neighborhood. Beautiful work.
