WOWwowWOW! Great job! I love the gelatos here too! And how you made the bubbles dressed up like that....Plus it all is perfect over that Washington BG paper. You really out did yourself on this one!
I am SO happy with how this turned out - and SO in love with the watercoloring techniques!
This is a photo of my DS last summer on the Anacortes Ferry between Orcas Island and Anacortes. We were on vacation for a week with my parents and decided to take the ferry for an adventure while we were camping up in Linden. (I am sitting here realizing how much my son has changed in just one year! *sobs*) He was way past a nap here, but having SO much fun on the front of the ferry as it pulled out of Orcas Island. His smile says it all!
I found this quote on a journal cover and knew this was perfect for this photo. No idea who it's by.... "Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures." That's my son in a nutshell!
I used gesso randomly on the BG and then colored randomly with the gelatos, blended with my finger and then misted and let the color fly! Then I played with some masks and texture paste as well as that fun water pen. I may frame this... LOVE how it turned out!
For Boys will be Boys, Boys and Girls and Hoarders challenges. I bought that Washington paper last year after our trip, but never quite knew what to do with it since it was so busy. Gesso helped and I'm kinda wishing I'd bought more... LOL!
