I used this adorable raccoons image from Art Impressions to make a one layer card. It's called Got Any Cake and is part of their Front and Back series. I combined it with their Front & Back window stamp and by using my stamp positioner and masking paper, I was able to get it all on one layer. I used Simon Says Stamp 120lb cardstock so the copic coloring didn't bleed through to the other side but I could have used colored pencils too. I started by stamping the window on the inside, masked the edges, stamped the raccoons' faces and cut around them and within the window frame with my craft knife and scissors. This was tricky with thick cardstock and you can see a few tears in some spots but I didn't even think of colored pencils and thinner cardstock. Then I worked on the front and used my stamp positioner to stamp the raccoon backs. I then masked them and stamped the window. I used a black marker to tidy up the trimmed out edges and then I stamped the sentiments. Oh...and I sponged some pale green ink on the inside of the card before I stamped the inside sentiment because on my first attempt, the black ink smeared when I started rubbing with the ink blending tool.
