DIY Shelf

The cubbie for my stickles, was a plain wood shelf I just painted, and added zebra duct tape to the edges. It was a gift that had bath products in it before.

Thank you so much for the sweet comments DebbieluvsGod , if you click on the second photo in this post I have another photo of what I started with to make my wood stamp shelf. I covered the foam core with the zebra material and then just tacked it to the wood frame, it didn't have a back to it so this also kept the stamps from falling. hope that makes sense.

This is fantastic for wood stamps! I've been searching everywhere on-line for something like this so I could SEE at a glance what I have, to your point, but I am going to try this. I'm curious though, what the foam core is for? To create a firm backing I'm guessing?
