I just love this quote, and used it on a layout with my husband and our other son. I wanted to use it with Micah, too.

The journaling talks about the bond that they share. My husband had major surgery 2 1/2 years ago, and Micah was the main reason he remained so positive throughout the whole ordeal.

The journaling reads:
I don't know what was sweeter. The fact that you climbed up to cuddle with Daddy while he was sleeping on the couch, or that he was asleep and didn't even know you crawled up there and he still put his arm around you.

This beautiful quote actually fits both you and Daddy. You love him so much, and you are so lucky to have a father who loves you back the way he does. He absolutely adores you. You are one of the reasons he is where he is today.

I know you don't remember, but you had just turned one when Daddy had 2 brain tumors removed. He had 3 long weeks in ICU before moving to a rehabilitation hospital for another 3 weeks. He looked forward to seeing you while he was in the hospital. That is what kept him positive. In rehab, he enjoyed eating dinner with you every night and taking you for a ride in his wheel chair. He was so happy when he was able to come home so that he could be with you all day.

Part of the reason he was in the hospital so long was after surgery was that he couldn't do anything from the neck down. He couldn't walk, sit up, or even feed himself. He wasn't able to do anything. He couldn't even scratch his nose if he had an itch. You inspired him to re-learn. He couldn't wait to be able to pick you up and be able hold you in his arms. It took a long time, but eventually, he was able to pick you up and give you a great big hug!

I finally made a library pocket, I think they are my new favorite thing now! I am also using more of my buttons that I've gotten in swaps. I had a piece of paper with teddy bears on it, and decided to cut them all out to use them all individually.

Thanks for looking!
