Really neat idea to use white on white shapes for a card front (or could even work for a LO backing huh?). Really great looking with the inking on top.

Love love love the concept of this card!!! How cool it is to use the shapes as a bg then color over them!! One of those DUH moments!! A beauty!! Like your own personal embossed design!

Father's Day Card 2018

A simple but heartfelt card for my DH on Father's Day to try and put into words how grateful I am for all that he does for me, our home and our family, all day, every day. He's definitely a keeper!

Tool shapes cut from 80# Smooth White Via cardstock, glued to a base of the same, with Tombow Mono liquid glue; allowed to dry overnight, then brushed with Nuvo blending brushes loaded with Distress Oxide inks for color and contrast. Layered on some stencils that I brushed with more distress inks and darkened the edges. Glued on stars punched from gold mirror board (to cover up a bad design choice); and added the sentiment strips with 3M foam tape. Glued all to a 5x7" black base.
