I can see I miss a lot by not going to the mountains. These pictures are beautiful and you did a great job scraping them. Your son is going to love his album.
These 2 pages are as stunning together as I thought they would be! Just a pretty design - really a nice balance. Great colors and the photos are so vivid and clear. Beautiful!
Oh my...this looks like a place DH and I would love. You scrapped the beauty so well. I love that punch but it guided my eyes over to the inked honeycomb images. I LOVE that!!! I haven't bought any of those stencils but now, I'm re-considering getting some. Super cool effect. I have trouble finding woodsy stuff and you inspired me to just make my own. Thanks. Beautiful place. Someday I will get there.
The pp is older stash from 2010 - Stamping Station - National Park (got it at the Grand Canyon). Edge punch - Martha Stewart, wood - RAKs, stamped background stamp Prima.
Journaling page 2 - “Walk away quietly in any direction and taste the freedom of the mountaineer. Camp out among the grasses and gentians of glacial meadows, in craggy garden nooks full of nature's darlings. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.” ~ John Muir
