Wonderful trophies. My Jack was a hunter & loved the meat. If we don't have the hunters the elk & deer population would be out of control, just like your Joe said.

You're obviously an animal lover, as am I. I have hunters in my family as well, and even though I can't ever imagine hunting myself, or killing an animal as beautiful as those, I have eaten venison, and it is delicious. As long as it's done respectfully, and as you stated, to control populations and the meat is used and doesn't go to waste. So don't feel bad about keeping those trophies up, they are beautiful. And I love your layouts and your room!
