Most of you that knew Donna knew what a generous and kind-hearted person she was. She had been texting me off and on for several days before she went into the hospital this last time. We had been talking about how beautiful the Blue Fern Studios Bird Waltz paper was. She sent me pictures of it and I looked it up online. It was out of stock in a couple of the stores but when I did find it one place, I just couldn't go to the expense of it. In her generosity, she sent me a text one Saturday and said she was sending me a surprise. The very day she went in the hospital she texted me again and said she was sending me the papers she had but was unable to mail them. Five days later, unbelievably, she was gone. So fast. She had the package all ready, and Kerry graciously had a friend mail it to me. It brought tears to my eyes when I opened it and saw a note to me from Donna. She had used parts of a few sheets but sent all she had to me.

This was the first project I made with one of the sheets. A page to go into my Treasures Journal, that includes the note she sent me. You can see it in the next two pictures. I cut it into a tag shape.

The bird cage, laces, tiny blue butterfly (on the birdcage flowers), Reneabouquets Beautiful Bead and flower bead at the top of the birdcage were all from Donna in past swaps. I used Wink of Stella to several areas but it doesn't show up in the picture.

The other butterflies are also Reneabouquets.

The paper collection is the most beautiful I've ever had...very thick, double-sided and smooth.

Flowers on the birdcage are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thank you so much for visiting my gallery.
