Our Neighborhood Alarm Clocks

OK, I'm not saying where I live is rural or anything -- but these are two of our neighborhood animals. I think there is another, but I'm not sure. Yes, they crow at dawn -- and at 7am, 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm -- pretty much all the time! I photographed them this morning because they were in my front yard -- the picture is not in my front yard I couldn't catch them quickly enough. I tried the first time as one came around the corner of the house, it must have seen the dog because it lifted off and flew to the yard you see it in -- I was so startled, I couldn't get a shot off. The second time one of them was standing on my front walkway, just as I had him focused, he took off as well!!!

Oh, I live in an older residential neighborhood in the metropolis of Palatka, FL. I've never heard anyone admit to owning them, but they have been here a couple of years!!!!!!
