Love your journaling and I completely get it - we love sea days too! Don't want an entire cruise of sea days, but I sure love them when we are lucky enough to get them. So relaxing. So much to do - not boring at all as most people think. I think the more you cruise, the more you enjoy them. Love the way you alternated the sunset and ocean pictures! And you know I really love the pictures of the carpet in the elevators. That is how we know what day it is. Otherwise, some days, especially sea days, we would never know!
What a STUNNING collection of photographs. I like how you've alternated them - the transition from cool to warm and back is restful and energetic at the same time, not overwhelming. I wish we lived closer to the ocean. I grew up on both coasts (military brat) and I miss it!
Beautiful sunset. I love the sunsets and sunrises at sea. Pretty wheel paper and I really like how you built the strip on the middle. How long before we get to Machu Picchu? Asking for a friend. Lol!
You really did the photos justice by simplifying the LO. Just the right balance of colors and patterns to highlight their glory!
My favorite thing is your journaling strip subtly integrated into the photo landscape.
Gorgeous photos and they gorgeously showcased! Matching the colors of the photos to the colors of the paper and the embellishments are excellent! Fantastic double page!
Another fabulous LO! Love how you alternated the sun and sea pics and brought them together with the blue and orange strips. Also like the journaling strip. Your beautiful photos tell the story and don't need extra embellies. Great double spread!
It is another day at sea. We were near Colombia. We woke to grey skies but smooth seas. I did a few jobs like downloading photos and catching up my journal. We played trivia in the afternoon and then, had lunch. The sun finally came out and I took advantage of our balcony to sew and watch the ocean go by while DH went to the Military Meetup. We watched a brilliant sunset, played evening trivia and then, had a light dinner. The only thing wrong with a sea day is...lots of food!!! :)
Thank you for your visit. I'm humbled.
This is my take on Lela Scraps-n-Stamps layout for January Scraplift the One Before You. I took a lot of liberties with it by turning and not adding the circles. I wanted it to be simple because the photos were so bright.
