I used a lot of mixed media products like texture sand paste, gesso and distress ink. I just love the chameleon wax paste. It gave my flowers such a beautiful shine and it gave the darker butterfly a hole other look. I also tried some silk paper and it worked fine as a background layer to the photo. I really like Mixed media more and more. But I still have lots to learn. When the stenciled text got wet it almost disappeared...
