Another canvas for the holiday shows. This time I used some Basic Grey paper from my stash and some of the stickers. I adhered the stickers to watercolor paper to add thickens. I did the same for the squares. This time I decided to stitch the squares with gold thread for an added detail. The background is done with rice paper (the wood grain) and distress spray stains to match the colors in the paper. I also did some stamping on the canvas with TH new winter watercolor stamp and archival inks. The background also has some paper paste through a stencil and some text stamping in black archival for interest. The branches with berries are cool, you add a drop of hot glue and then gold embossing powder. Let cool down and then heat up the embossing powder so it melts. Lastly, this time I used nuvo mousse watered down some to edge the piece. Really like how that turned out. I think I will be purchasing more mousse.
