Beautiful pages and subject. I love the whole design, the colors, embellishments and of course the great photos. Im so glad Blue has people who really love him--Ro
Beautifully retro - love the colors and frames and block letters!!! Even more, I love the story behind this - poor Blue to have been shaved; lucky Blue to have been rescued by such a loving family..
Now this is a blast from the past! When we moved into our house in 2009, I brought with me my scrapbooking supplies. This paper K&Co collection was amongst it. I stumbled across it yesterday ( buried under lots of "stuff"), so this means the collection is at least 13 years old!! I vowed and declared that I was going to use it for a double spread. Et voilą!!!
The papers have a retro feel about them and I love the large letter tiles and frames. Although I made the one on the right page, using papers from the collection and a stencil. I made the large daisies and used 2 large brads from my stash (I guess they could also be K&Co). The pocket holds hidden journaling that reads:
When Jules rescued Blue she took him to the vet for a thorough check-up. A number of health issues were identified, including his badly matted fur. So Blue had to have his fur shaved off. He looks like a completely different dog now! And to keep him warm this winter Jules bought him a smart and cosy new coat.
Papers - K&Co, K-ology Scrap Pad To Go, Hannah 12x12 Collection Frame - My Favorite Things, stencil, Watercolor Wash Rectangle
